WHO WE ARE
Cybernomics Group is an advisory firm focused on one issue most organizations avoid confronting directly:
Cyber risk is not a technology problem. It is a leadership problem.
We work with executives and boards to bring clarity to decisions that are often misunderstood, delegated without ownership, or made without full visibility of their consequences.
Our role is not to implement controls.
Our role is to ensure the decisions behind those controls are clear, owned, and defensible.
WHY WE EXIST
Most organizations that experience serious cyber incidents were not negligent. They had capable teams, strong tools, and recognized frameworks.
What they lacked was something far less visible:
- Clear ownership of risk decisions
- Alignment between leadership intent and operational reality
- The ability to explain, defend, and stand behind critical choices
Cybersecurity does not fail suddenly.
It fails gradually—through decisions that appear reasonable in isolation, but collectively create exposure.
